Donation & Refund Policy

1. Charitable Contributions

All donations made through this website are charitable contributions to Oston Charity Foundation.

Oston Charity Foundation retains full discretion and control over all donated funds and uses them in furtherance of its tax-exempt charitable purposes.

2. Campaign Preferences

A donor may indicate a preference for a particular campaign or program.

Such a designation expresses the donor's charitable preference but does not create a legal right to direct the funds, control the beneficiary, or require Oston to make a payment in a specific manner.

3. Final Donations

Donations are generally final and non-refundable.

Oston may consider a refund request in limited circumstances, including:

• Duplicate transactions
• An incorrect donation amount caused by a technical or input error
• A transaction made without the authorized account holder's permission
• Another documented payment-processing error

Submitting a request does not guarantee a refund.

4. Refund Requests

A donor should contact Oston as soon as possible after discovering an error and provide:

• Donor name
• Email used for the donation
• Transaction date
• Transaction amount
• Transaction or receipt number
• Explanation of the request

Oston will review the circumstances, payment-provider rules, available records, and applicable law.

Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method.

Processing fees, timing, or technical restrictions may depend on the payment provider.

5. Campaign Reallocation

If:

• A campaign exceeds its fundraising goal
• A campaign is canceled
• A beneficiary becomes ineligible
• The requested purpose is no longer possible
• The need is resolved through another source
• The funds cannot reasonably be used as originally described
• Legal, safety, verification, or compliance concerns arise

Oston may use the remaining funds for a similar charitable case, an Oston charitable program, emergency assistance, or another activity consistent with Oston's tax-exempt mission.

6. Assistance Amounts

The amount displayed as a campaign goal is a fundraising target and not a guaranteed payment to a beneficiary.

Oston may consider verified need, donations received, transaction fees, changing circumstances, other available assistance, legal restrictions, and the approved charitable plan.

7. Direct Payments

Whenever practical, Oston may provide assistance through direct payment to an approved landlord, medical provider, store, daycare, service provider, vendor, nonprofit organization, or other appropriate entity.

Oston is not required to provide unrestricted cash directly to an individual.

8. Recurring Donations

A recurring donation continues at the selected interval until canceled.

Donors are shown the recurring frequency before completing the donation.

Cancellation applies to future charges and does not automatically refund completed donations.

To cancel a recurring donation, use the cancellation option in your dashboard or contact us.

9. Chargebacks

Donors are encouraged to contact Oston promptly regarding duplicate charges, incorrect amounts, unauthorized transactions, cancellation questions, or technical problems before initiating a chargeback.

Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law or payment-network rules.
